PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel which is capable of manufacturing the large-area liquid crystal display panel provided with a horizontal scanning circuit part which has a TFT characteristic having high driving current (high nobility), a pixel part which includes crystal particles having excellent uniformity and a vertical scanning circuit part. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel consists in irradiating the position of an amorphous silicon thin-film panel to be formed with the part corresponding to the vertical scanning circuit with a laser beam 3 of a uniform energy density distribution of a rectangular shape larger in the long side than the width of the amorphous silicon thin-film panel 1 to be crystallized and larger in the short side than the short side of the part 4 corresponding to the horizontal scanning circuit in the state of fixing the relative positional relation with the amorphous silicon thin-film panel, over 10 to 30 shots, and irradiating the positions of the amorphous silicon thin-film panel to be formed with the vertical scanning circuit part and the pixel part while relatively moving the laser beam along the longitudinal direction of the amorphous silicon thin-film panel with respect to the amorphous silicon thin-film panel.
