PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air belt device capable of surely putting a gas generator in an operation prohibited state when a child seat is installed on a seat. SOLUTION: A recessed part 20 is provided on the underside of a seat back 12, and the tip part of a sensor 21 for detecting a child seat 22 is disposed in the recessed part 20. An opening 25 allowing a shoulder belt 15 and a wrap belt to be passed is provided at the rear part of the child seat 22, and a projected part 26 is provided on the rear surface of a base part 23. When the child seat 22 is installed on a seat 10, the projected part 26 comes into the recessed part 20, and comes in contact with the tip of the sensor 21 so as to detect the child seat 22. When the sensor 21 detects the child seat 22, even if an impact of a specified scale is detected, an inflator for inflating an air belt (shoulder belt 15) is not operated. |
