PURPOSE: A liquid crystal cell grinding apparatus is provided to halve a process time by mounting upper and lower wheels on a rotation shaft and grinding upper and lower edges of a section of a liquid crystal cell. CONSTITUTION: A rotation shaft(120) is extended from a main shaft(130), and rotates in the same direction as the main shaft(130). An upper grinding wheel(100) is installed between the main shaft(130) and the rotation shaft(120), and a lower grinding wheel(110) is fixed to an end of the main shaft(130). The main shaft(130) is connected with a power side for supplying a rotation power, and the rotation shaft(120) does a rotary motion. The rotation shaft(120) fixes the upper and lower grinding wheels(100,110) and transfers a rotary torque applied to the main shaft(130) into the upper and lower grinding wheels(100,110). The upper grinding wheel(100) has the first grinding surface(100a) of a predetermined slope(30 deg.), and the lower grinding wheel(110) has the second and third grinding surfaces(110a,110b), which are 30 deg. and 80 to 90 deg., respectively.
