PURPOSE: To improve design efficiency for a semiconductor device. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of circuits are arranged on a semiconductor chip by selecting a macro of each circuit stored in advance, and the circuits and a pad for external connection are connected mutually, for designing a semiconductor device of prescribed function. Here, pads a2-a5 where their positions on the semiconductor chip is fixed are assigned to an A/D converter, and the A/D converter is held as a hard macro in advance, together with the pads a2-a5 for arranging the A/D converter on the semiconductor chip using the hard macro. |
