SOLUTION: In the coil winding method, a nozzle 5 is moved in the radial direction Di, axial direction AX, and widthwise direction W of a salient pole 2, a coil is locked to the side of a bottom part 3a of a slot 3 temporarily using hooks 10 and 11 when moving in the radial direction Di, and the coil is wound without allowing the nozzle 5 to enter the slot 3.
