PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half mirror supporting structure for prompter by which trouble for the positional adjustment of a half mirror can be eliminated by providing a stopper ring storing the position of the half mirror in a vertical direction on a pole movably supporting the half mirror in the vertical direction with respect to a liquid crystal panel, so that the position of the half mirror in the vertical direction is automatically set by the stopper ring when the half mirror is moved from a housing position to a using position. SOLUTION: In this half mirror supporting structure, the stopper ring 70 controlling the position of the half mirror 14 in the vertical direction is provided on the pole 42 movably supporting the mirror 14 in the vertical direction, so that the trouble for the positional adjustment of the mirror 14 can be eliminated.
