PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a combustor comprising a storage water heater body having a multifunction channel in which deterioration of performance or lowering of output due to deposition of scale in a channel not used during single operation is prevented. SOLUTION: A joint channel 7 of a first channel 10 and second channel 5 penetrating a heat transfer fin 4 is provided and the interval P of the joint channel 7 is set shorter than that of at least one of the first or second channel 10, 5. Since high temperature combustion gas does not flow smoothly through the joint channel 7 even in case of single heating operation, the quantity of receiving heat is reduced and temperature rise of water standing in the other pipe of the joint channel 7 is suppressed. Consequently, generation of scale in the pipe is prevented and service life of a heat exchanger 8 can be prolonged.
