PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve heat-exchange efficiency compared with a conventional heat-exchange efficiency, in a heat-exchanger formed such that a plurality of tubes are situated in a flowing direction of external fluid at a core. SOLUTION: A plurality of tubes 21 and 23 are situated between an inlet tank 11 and an outlet tank 13, situated opposite to each other with a given distance therebetween, to form a core 25 through which external fluid G flows. Tubes 21 and 23 situated upstream and downstream, respectively, of a direction of a flow of the external fluid G of the core 25. In a so formed heat-exchanger, the area of a flow passage on the inlet tank 11 side of the tube 21 on the side situated upstream is decreased to a value lower than the area of a flow passage on the outlet tank 13 side, and a flow passage area of the inlet tank 11 side of the tube 23 on the side situated downstream is increased to a value higher than that on the outlet tank 13 side.
