PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display half-tones by a movable film type display device without requiring many scanning lines and signal lines. SOLUTION: This movable film type display device is equipped with 1st and 2nd fixed electrodes 131, a flexible 1st movable film electrode 132 which is paired with the 1st fixed electrode 131, has a fixed end and a displaceable end, and is displaced with a 1st potential difference between the 1st fixed electrode 131, and a flexible 2nd movable film electrode 132 which is paired with the 2nd fixed electrode 131, has a fixed end and a displaceable end, and is displaced with a 2nd potential difference different from the 1st potential difference and between the 2nd fixed electrode 131.
