PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system by writing image data to the utmost even when a memory idle capacity is deficient or a prescribed idle capacity cannot be ensured while image data are written in a memory if the read and write of the image data of a plurality of pages in/from the memory and the image processing of the image data are repetitively executed in a prescribed page sequence and to provide an image processing method. SOLUTION: Even when a memory full state or a memory near full state is predicted, since write of new image data to a memory 155 and storage of the written image data are continued until overwrite of newly written image data onto image data of a prescribed page having already been written is detected, the image processing is made by storing the image data as many as possible.
