PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user or a manufacturer to easily grasp an operating state of various functions of an electronic device. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 increments a number of operations stored in number of operation storage area set in an information storage section 4 with respect to a function by one in the case of conducting processing to realize the function on request. Then the CPU 1 externally outputs information related to number of the operations stored in the storage area that is expressed as a ratio of the number of operations stored in a preceding number of operation storage area to a total number of function operations or the like in response to a request via, e.g. a PSTN subscriber line C by transmitting the information through, e.g. the PSTN subscriber line C.
