PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely produce a liquid crystal display panel that a primary adhesion method by a sheet heat press can be applied and high sealing reliability is secured in a high temperature environment. SOLUTION: The sealing material for a liquid crystal display cell frame is a single-liquid sealing material having the features that the proportion of a high softening point acrylic polymer having >=50 deg.C softening point is <0.1 wt.%, and that a hardened film having 100μm thickness of the sealing material for a liquid crystal display cell shows <30 g/m2 24 hours of 60 deg.C moisture permeation which represents the amount of water vapor permeating the film in a 60 deg.C and 95 % relative humidity environment for 24 hours.
