PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and simply generate waveform data of high quality corresponding to various styles of articulation with high controllability. SOLUTION: A waveform corresponding to musical sounds played in a desired performance mode, namely, articulation is generated from vector data generated on the basis of received articulation stream data. In articulation stream data, a series of played sounds is described in combination corresponding to plural articulation characteristics. Vector data can be generated for each articulation, and a waveform corresponding to any articulation is easily and simply generated by waveform generation bases on respective vector data. |
