<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device which suitably receives notice from external equipment such as a portable telephone, a beeper, etc., by making it easy to grasp notice from a computer. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a movable operation part 10 for operation by a user, movement sensors 16 and 18 which detect the movement of the operation part 10, a switch 20 for inputting a user's instruction, a notification device 22 which gives notice by vibration through the operation part 10, a transmitter receiver 24 which communicates with a computer 200 by radio, and a communication controller 27 which controls the communication with the computer 200; and the communication controller 26 outputs detection signals from the movement sensors 16 and 18 and the switch signal from the switch 20 to the transmitter receiver 24 and the notification device 22 gives notice when notice information from the computer 200 is inputted from the transmitter receiver 24.</p> |
