RADIO TERMINAL DEVICE, DATA TRANSFER METHOD AND CONTROL INFORMATION NOTIFYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio terminal which can execute a higher order application, using the state information on a radio link. SOLUTION: A BT terminal 1021 and a radio GW(gateway) 1011 store their collected state information on a radio LAN in the descriptors 1021 and 1022 respectively. An AV application set on a BT terminal reads the descriptor of its own terminal and acquires the link state information on the radio LAN. The radio GW actually notifies the BT terminal of a VTR contained in a terminal 1394 as a subunit contained in its own terminal. The BT terminal refers to the collected link state information to select an AV/C command that is sent to a VTR subunit of the radio GW. Then the BT terminal transfers a play command to the radio GW. The radio GW transfers the received play command to a VTR subunit contained in the terminal 1394, and the VTR subunit of the terminal 1394 starts the transfer of AV data.
