PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter for receiving satellite broadcast, which improves the insertion loss and reflection loss even when the frequency band exceeds 2,000 MHz. SOLUTION: This converter for receiving satellite broadcast is provided with a circular waveguide 21 connecting one terminal to a primary radiator, a square waveguide 22 connecting one terminal to the circular waveguide 21 and closing the other terminal and two probes 3H and 3V orthogonally located on a plane vertical to the axial line of the square waveguide 22. By providing the circular waveguide 21 and the square waveguide 22 on a cross section vertical to the axial line, the converter for receiving satellite broadcast, which improves the insertion loss and reflection loss even when the frequency band exceeds 2,000 MHz, can be provided.
