PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear powder included in a tension arm support guide part from dropping on a magnetic disk and to prevent a magnetic head from coming into contact with the magnetic disk. SOLUTION: A magnetic head slider 7 is retreated to the outside of the outer edge of a magnetic disk 3 when the slider 7 is stopped and then moved onto the disk 3 in a recording/reproduction mode. In such a constitution of the magnetic storage of a load-unload system, an engagement part 4 is provided in a tension arm 2 via a connecting part 8 and a tension arm support guide part 1 is provided which touches the part 4 to move the arm 2 in a load-unload mode. The part 4 is located at the outer circumference side of the disk 3 relative to the center line set in the lengthwise direction of the arm 2, and the part 1 is located more outside than the outer edge of the disk 3. Thus, the slider 7 is locked to the arm 2 so that the floating surface of the slider 7 is held approximately parallel to the surface of the disk 3 in a load-unload mode.
