PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce all files under the same probability even when the number of a plurality of the files in existence in each directory differs from one another. SOLUTION: The reproduction device for an optical disk having a plurality of directories each having a plurality of files is provided with a random reproduction control means 5 that gives a command to reproduce each file at random, a continuous management number assignment number assignment means 6 that assigns a consecutive number to all files of each directory, and a number selection means 7 that selects one number among a plurality of the consecutive numbers at random. In the case of selecting each file at random, each file is reproduced randomly on the basis of the management number assigned to each file.
