PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cartridge from coming out of a portable information equipment such as an optical disk video camera and fall down when taking out the cartridge from the portable information equipment. SOLUTION: A cartridge holder holding the cartridge while opening its cartridge shutter is provided to the portable information equipment that can record/ reproduce information to/from the optical disk contained in the cartridge and the cartridge holder is provided with an engagement member that engages with the inserted cartridge and is moved attended with the ejection of the cartridge.
