PURPOSE:To utilize high added value of fine granular iron and to increase production of molten iron by blowing the fine granular iron into the molten iron by using carrier gas through a transporting pipe inclined to downward and a lance. CONSTITUTION:The fine granular steel and iron recovered from slag, etc., is charged as blowing into the molten iron 6 flowing down an iron runner by using carrier gas through the transporting pipe 4 inclined to downward and the blowing lance 5 and is melted. The lance is desirable to be made of zirconia. The blowing of the fine granular iron is continuously and quantitatively executed in accordance with the molten iron 6 flow rate. In this way, the fine granular iron is effectively utilized as increasing production of the molten iron.
