SERVER'S ELECTRONIC MEDIUM IN WWW SERVER-CLIENT SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute engineering calculation and display without increasing server's load in a system for executing engineering calculation by a server connected to a communication network by operation from a client's WWW browser. SOLUTION: A server is accessed from a client terminal only when calculation is required without periodically accessing the server, the accessed server executes calculation and the terminal displays or updates the calculated result. Consequently the engineering calculation of a plant can be executed within a comparatively short time and the display of the client side can be automatically updated.
