PURPOSE:To improve the processing speed of a host processor which suppresses or releases the suppression of information from a mouse by providing a control mechanism to detect the press-down of plural keys and send a special code different from the press-down of the key to the host processing unit toward the host processing unit. CONSTITUTION:When it is detected in a key press-down detecting circuit 3a of a keyboard control part 3 that an (n) number of the special key on a keyboard (KB) 1a is pressed down simultaneously, the information of the mouse is controlled so as not to transmit to a host processor, special code information is sent from the keyboard control part 3 to a host processor 7 and a mouse processing is not executed. When it is detected in the key press-down detecting circuit 3a of the keyboard control part 3 that the information of the mouse is controlled so as to transmit to the host processor, the special code information is sent from the keyboard control part 3 to the host processing unit 7 and the moth processing is returned to the condition that the processing is executed in parallel to the keyboard processing.
