PURPOSE:To measure a flow rate with high accuracy under such a condition that the number of conversion steps are reduced as compared with differential pressure conversion and a cumulative error is reduced, by measuring the flow rate by detecting the force acting on a throttle part. CONSTITUTION:When the fluid is piping 2 flows to the direction 5 shown by an arrow, force acts on a throttle part 1 in the flow direction the load cell 3 interposed between the hermetically closing cover 4 integrally fixed to the piping 2 and the throttle part 1 to detect flowing force. This force is outputted to calculate a flow rate. Because the force acting on the throttle part 1 is directly measured to determine the flow rate as mentioned above, measuring procedure is simple and measurement reduced in a cumulated error can be performed with good accuracy.
