PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique which automatically and also efficiently acquires more resource information protected on a Web server on the Internet and allows a user to browse the information. SOLUTION: An investment and assets managing Web server 106 offers information (service) only to registered users by performing authentication by an SSL and user authentication. A Web information browsing device mounted on a server terminal 101 automatically acquires the information of a resource designated by a user on the server 106 while connected with it. Thus, the Web information browsing device automatically acquires information held by it regardless of security performed by the server 106 and automatically allows the user to browse the acquired information.
