The marks (M1-M4) include grooves (28) formed by a laser beam on the front surface. An Independent claim is included for the method of making the predetermined mark as described. This includes formation of a hard film covering on the external surface. Once this film has been applied, a laser beam forms a groove. Preferred Features: The mark is formed on the internal surface. Several grooves (28) are formed at predetermined spacing, parallel to each other. The mark includes points of intersection (in corners of the E and 4 characters), however, the groove(s) are interrupted before the region of intersection. An internal anti-misting film is formed. Laser beam irradiation is carried out after this. The external surface is covered before application of the anti-misting film.
