METHOD FOR PREVENTING SOLIDIFICATION OF ANTIOXIDANT FOR RUBBER

PURPOSE:To prevent solidification granules economically and readily, by gradually blending granules of wax or a blend of wax and an antioxidant with a powder chemical for rubber and coating the granules with the total amount of the powder chemical for rubber uniformly. CONSTITUTION:Melt of wax or a blend of wax and an antioxidant (N-phenyl-N'- isopropyl-P-phenylenediamine, etc.) is molded by spray granulation etc., to give spherical, elliptic or cylindrical granules, which are put in a pan type rolling machine. 1-2wt% based on the granules of powder chemical for rubber (preferably silicon oxide) is gradually added to the granules while rotating the granules and the granules are uniformly coated with the total amount of the powder chemical for rubber to prevent solidification of the granules.
