PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform, with a simple constitution, the skew and the height adjustment of an optical pickup device in an optical disk device. SOLUTION: A spindle motor mechanism 43 for rotatably driving an optical disk is attached to a chassis 42 through an installation plate 49 in a manner that the height and the tilt are adjustable, and a feeding mechanism 45 and a guiding mechanism 46 for moving the optical pickup device 44 in the radial direction relative to the optical disk which is rotatably driven by the spindle motor mechanism 43 are attached to the chassis 42 so as to make the skew and the height separately adjustable. The skew and the height of the optical pickup device 44 are thereby made adjustable simultaneously.
