PAD AND BATTERY ENCLOSURE HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for protecting a projection portion with easiness and low cost in an apparatus enclosure case having the projection portion such as a terminal in an upper face. SOLUTION: End slits 2 is formed in both ends of a strip-shaped body 1 along a lateral direction of the strip-shaped body 1 and end slits 2 partition both ends of the strip-shaped body 1 in the lateral direction thereby forming end strip portions 3. A middle slit 4 is formed in a center of the strip-shaped body 1 along a lateral direction of the strip-shaped body 1 and the middle slit 4 partitions the center of the strip-shaped body 1 in the lateral direction thereby forming center strip portions. Hinge portions is formed between end slits 2 and the center slit 4 and the strip-shaped body 1 is bent in parallel with the lateral direction of the strip-shaped body 1 such that it is folded, and then end portions and center portions are outwardly expanded thereby forming a pad 8. The pad 8 is disposed between an upper face of the apparatus and the enclosure case.
