PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an egg candler for increasing the number ot eggs to be inspected within unit time. SOLUTION: A second optical fiber 12 where three optical fibers are in a bundle is connected to a second connector 12a being mounted to a housing 8, thus emitting light from three emission parts being provided at the end part of the second optical fiber 12. First to third photoelectric converters 17a, 17b, and 17c for reference light for obtaining reference are provided opposite to the three emission parts of the second optical fiber 12, and bandpass filters 14-16 for reference for passing light with the same wavelength as the first to third bandpass filters are included between each emission part and the opposing first to third photoelectric converters 17a, 17b, and 17c for reference light.
