PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the energy loss of the charges moving in the electrolyte layer of a photoelectric cell with improved photoelectric conversion rate. SOLUTION: A photoelectric cell includes a substrate consisting of an electrode layer 1 and a semiconductor layer 2 laid thereon adsorbing an optical sencitizer, another electrode 3 arranged opposite to the electrode 1, an electrolyte layer with spacers sealed between the semiconductor layer 2 and the electrode layer 3. Thus, the distance between the electrodes is small and uniform to reduce the energy loss of the charges (electron) moving the electrolyte layer, so that the entire cell shows uniform optical and electrical properties, enhancing the photoelectric conversion rate as well as reducing the amount of the electrolyte used. |
