PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for allowing a hydrophilic monomer to efficiently react so that it has a sufficient functional group as a filler for LC without causing agglutination reaction during polymerization reaction. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a filler for liquid chromatography being made of a hydrophilic crosslinking polymer, a polymerization reaction is made under the presence of a polymerization initiator using a crosslinking monomer and a hydrophilic monomer, an organic solvent is added to a polymerization system at a stage where a polymerization ratio in the polymerization reaction ranges from 70 to 98%, and further the polymerization is allowed to continue to obtain the hydrophilic crosslinking polymer. |
