<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive illumination system with a small size, which may be controlled to produce an optical output according to a user's demand. SOLUTION: A body 1 includes a PIR sensor 6, a light source 22, and a control unit 25 serving to control an optical output from the light source 22 depending on a sense output from the PIR sensor 6. Thus, after the PIR sensor conducts the sense, the optical output from the light source 22 is maintained at a high level only for a first desired period. A subsidiary device 2 includes a second light source, and a control unit serving to control an optical output from the second light source depending on a sense output from the PIR sensor 6. Thus, after the PIR sensor conducts the sense, the optical output from the second light source is maintained at a high level only for a second desired period.</p> |
