<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device, such as a cellular phone that has a simple assembly process and cannot cause dust or the like to enter due to an input operation. SOLUTION: In this portable input device, a panel catch recessed part 24 is formed on a front panel 2 for composing one portion of a casing, and a touch panel 3 is accommodated in the recessed part 24. In the panel catch recessed part 24, a part opposing the display surface of a display 6 is transparent. An exterior sheet 4 is installed on the surface of the front panel 2, while covering the touch panel 3 being accommodated in the panel catch recessed part 24. In the exterior sheet 4, a part corresponding to the operation surface of the touch panel 3 is transparent, the reverse side of the outer-periphery part is glued to the surface of a panel application part 27, being formed around the panel catch recessed part 24.</p> |
