PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device which eliminates the errors between a service time display and the service life of consumables. SOLUTION: This endoscope device 1 includes photoelectric conversion elements 30 which detect the light quantity of a lamp 26, a light quantity determining means 16 which computes the service time of the lamp 26 from the values detected by these photoelectric conversion elements, an information memory means 18 which stores the computed values of the light quantity determining means and an announcing means 17 which announces the service time of the lamp 26 determined from the computed values of the light quantity determining means 16.
