PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure which has cable entrances and exits concentrated only at one end because of restrictions, etc., in an arrangement. SOLUTION: This closure is equipped with an optical cable storage part 8 which is formed integrally on one end of an end plate 1 having an optical cable insertion part formed inside and stores the connection and excessive-length part of an optical cable, a cover 9 which is a bottomed cylinder wherein the optical cable storage part 8 is put and has a flange 9a formed at an opening end to nearly the same diameter with the end plate 1, and a uniting means which covers the outer peripheral part with U-sectioned ring covers 12A and 12B after making the flange 9a of the cover 9 abut against the end plate 1 across a cover gasket 11 and clamps them in the circumferential direction to unite the cover 9 and end plate 1 together.
