PURPOSE:To perform nondestructive inspection without damaging the surface of a disk by blowing air out of a disk cradle and fixing part of the inner peripheral surface of the disk without bringing the disk contact the disk cradle. CONSTITUTION:The disk is fixed between a cap 13 which has a plastic-made buffer material 14 fitted at the lower part and the disk cradle 13 and the compressed air is blown out of a blowout port which has an air nozzle from the disk cradle 12 to provide an air layer 16 below the disk 11. The disk 11 never contacts the disk cradle 12 because of this air layer 16, and consequently the disk 11 is not damaged at all. The disk 11 rotates at a high speed, but lock rods 17 are provided at, for example, three positions of the inner periphery so as to fix the disk, and the disk is pressed under the air pressure and fixed.
