PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high-speed processing when a rotation processing circuit is available and to execute a rotated print without awaiting the processing even when the rotation processing circuit is not available. SOLUTION: A personal computer discriminates whether or not the rotation processing circuit of a multi-function device is available in a step S13 depending on status information acquired in a step S11, and when the rotation processing circuit is available, angle information is sent in a step S14, and data not subjected to rotation processing are sent in a step S15. When the rotation processing circuit is not available, the data subjected to rotation processing by a printer driver are transmitted to the multi-function device.
