PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which temperature setting is facilitated even for a weak-sighted person. SOLUTION: The refrigerator has a storage compartment formed in a heat insulation box and cooled to a set temperature. The refrigerator comprises means for setting the temperature of the storage compartment and the temperature setting means comprises a temperature setting switch 92B and an electronic sound generator 97. The set temperature is varied depending on the operation of the temperature setting switch and the electronic sound generator is sounded every time the switch is operated. Sounding state of the electronic sound generator is altered at the upper and lower limits of set temperature. |
