PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detector which can detect the current to a load with high sensitivity without changing the current, and a power unit which does not change the current to the load with small loss. SOLUTION: The winding wd for detection of a transformer T is wound around a secondary iron core F2 so that the winding wd may not be inductively coupled with a primary winding w1, but with a secondary winding w2. The secondary iron core F2 is arranged so that the core F2 may not be positioned inside the solenoid formed of the secondary wiring w2, but outside the solenoid. When an electric current transiently flows to the secondary winding w2, a voltage indicating the direction and magnitude of the current is generated between both ends of the winding wd for detection. The ratio of the variation of the voltage across the winding wd for detection to the variation of the current flowing to the secondary winding w2 varies depending upon the magnetic permeability of the secondary iron core F2.
|
