PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone system that can ensure the opportunity of communication with a specific speech opposite party without the need for confirming a dialing/call reception history by raising a warning in the case that a period of no communication with the specific speech opposite party exceeds a prescribed period. SOLUTION: In the telephone system provided with a storage means 30 that stores a telephone directory database 110 in which information of speech opposite parties is registered and with a control means 10 that processes registration of the information of a speech opposite party in the telephone directory database 110 and dialing and call reception, the control means 10 raises an output of a warning when no speech is made with a specific speech opposite party registered in the telephone directory database 110 over a prescribed time.
