PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which the performance can be improved without enlarging the machine room. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 has a machine room 41 at a lower section of a heat insulation box in which a compressor 69, a condenser 71, and the like, constituting a refrigeration cycle are disposed. The refrigerator 1 comprises a condenser 83 for evaporation pan and a main condenser 104 constituting the condenser 71, a fan 88 for ventilating the machine room, and an evaporation pan 90 receiving drain from the cooler in the refrigeration cycle wherein the compressor, the main condenser and the fan are disposed at a rear part in the machine room, the condenser for evaporation pan is disposed in front thereof and the evaporation pan is placed on the upper side thereof.
