PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux-barrier synchronous reluctance motor for reducing torque ripples by improving the structure of a flux barrier. SOLUTION: The reluctance motor is provided with a plurality of ribs for forming the end of each flux barrier. When both ends of one flux barrier are set to first and second ribs, the second rib is allowed to oppose the center of the gear of the stator when the first rib opposes the center of the slot of the stator, thus reducing torque ripples being generated by rotation.
