PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mount device for a cathode ray tube that accurately aligns an image display surface of the cathode ray tube to an image display opening provided to an enclosure. SOLUTION: Elastically deformable guide ribs 9 that are respectively pressed into contact with side faces of the cathode ray tube to guide the cathode ray tube to a rib 3 in a press contact way are integrally formed to the enclosure at positions opposed to each other via the image display opening 2 in the mount device for the cathode ray tube that fixes the cathode ray tube to the enclosure 1 while the image display surface of the cathode ray tube is pressed into contact with the rib 3 formed to the circumferential edge of the image display opening 2 formed to the enclosure 1.
