PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for motors, which is capable of having satisfactory withstand voltage characteristic when coils are wound, satisfying strict dimensional accuracy and anticorrosion film requirements, is suitable for performing size reduction and thinning of motors, and solves the problem of rust as well. SOLUTION: A powder coated layer 90 is formed directly on the coil wound part of at least each tooth 88 of a stator core 82 by an electrostatic powder coating, and a plated layer 91 is formed directly by electroless nickel plating on the confronting surface of each pole tooth to a rotor magnet 78.
