PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk camcorder capable of providing a stable and highly reliable recording/reproducing characteristic, wherein when an optical disk is deformed by gyro moment in its actual use state in the optical disk camcorder, skewing is prevented by an inexpensive and simple structure without complicating or enlarging a structure. SOLUTION: In an optical disk camcorder provided with an optical disk 106 loaded in a camcorder main body 101, and an optical pickup 110 for seeking the optical disk, the optical pickup 110 is installed directly under the rotary shaft 107c of the optical disk 106 in its actual use state.
