PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a liquid crystal display part provided in an information display device. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an input display means 21 which displays the input of external information, a liquid crystal display means 22 which displays the contents of external information, a switch means 23 which displays external information with the liquid crystal display means, a time counting means 25 which counts a display time in the liquid crystal display means, and a control means 26 which drives the input display means for display at the time of input of external information and not only displays external information with the liquid crystal display means but also erases display on the input display means when detecting the driving of the switch means and erases display on the liquid crystal display means after a prescribed time preliminarily determined by the time counting means.
