PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the clamp ring which clamps the winding of a power stationary inductor of a transformer, power reactor, etc., so as to constitute the stationary inductor more compact with a high-strength clamp ring. SOLUTION: A clamp ring 8 is constituted by arranging two pieces 8B of oriented plywood respectively having semicircular notched sections 8A on one sides of their rectangular shapes as one set on the top side of the ring 8, arranging two pieces 8D of directional plywood respectively having semicircular notched sections 8C on one sides of their rectangular shapes as one set on the bottom side of the ring 8, and forming a circular notched section 8E by putting the two sets of plywood pieces 8B and 8D upon another by shifting the pieces 8B and 8D from each other by 90 deg.. Then the strength of the whole ring 8 is secured by restraining the portion which becomes thicker when the pieces 8B and 8D are put upon another.
