<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an object video image with high display priority in an easily viewed state. SOLUTION: A pile-up state detection section 26 detects a pile-up state between an object video image with high priority and an object video image with lower priority than the object video image with the high priority. When the object video image with the high priority is placed under the object video image with the low priority, the pile-up state detection section 26 checks pile-up area 50 to check the size of the pile-up area 50 or whether the pile-up area 50 makes contact with a priority area 66 and outputs arrangement information 44. A video compositing section 42 arranges the object video images on the basis of the arrangement information 44 and displays the result on a monitor 48.</p> |
