PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system that includes a pattern having a decreased number of cells. SOLUTION: The wireless communication system includes repetitive patterns of cells (203) so that a spread spectrum code can be assigned to a base station transmitter (204) and a user transmitter (202) in each cell so as to modulate the wireless signal communication in each cell. The wireless signal used in each cell is spread over a sufficiently wide bandwidth so that both a base station receiver and a user station receiver in an adjacent cell can identify communication sent from one cell from that sent from another cell. A plurality of adjacent cells can use a plurality of identification frequencies and a plurality of identification codes. It is sufficient if a plurality of the adjacent cells uses a plurality of codes identical to a plurality of the identification frequencies. The repetitive patterns for a plurality of the cells allow the respective codes to be used again by a plurality of the cells.
