PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having a good form of rib in which a defect is not generated when it is attached to a front plate and which an attachment to the head of the rib is not generated when fluorescent paste is filled in the panel. SOLUTION: A rib 3 is installed at a rear plate and a curvature radius in a peak end A thereof is in the range of 1 to 20μm. Since a leading end of the rib 3 is not sharpened or rounded extremely, a defect is not generated when it is attached to a front plate and an attachment to the head of the rib is not generated when fluorescent paste is filled in the panel.
